So - Maggie has been out of the state for about a week now (home visiting her parents) and I've been left to my own (questionable at best) devices. I have not posted anything about last weekend yet because honestly...if Maggie isn't here...I don't cook. I exist on a primarily liquid diet. True story. In the words of Atlanta housewife NeNe, "100%". However, I'd like to give a run down because fun, debauchery and volunteering were all a part of my solo weekend!
Saturday of last weekend my fabulous friend Lauren, also a Giving+Sum member, hosted a for-no-reason-other-than-fun pub crawl. On Mass Ave. I could stop there because those Indy dwellers know those two phrases - pub crawl. Mass Ave. - are definitive of fun. And it was. From Front Page to Mass Ave Pub we went...including a favorite stop of mine, Chatham Tap. LOVE it. And they have Fat Tire on tap. There was an excellent showing of Lauren's fun friends - most of whom are now new friends of mine!
It was a good day, friends...a very good day. So - a big thank you to Miss Lauren for planning such a fun Saturday activity. You are delightful. Very Prefontainian. ;)
