The next weeks will be jam packed with events that will allow us to enjoy the last of the great summer weather.
This week on Tuesday, the college girls will be getting together for a Biggest Loser premier/ theme dinner night!
Coming up this weekend is Irish Fest in Military Park and Coburn Fest at the Irsay Party pavilion.
Hopefully, we'll see some Party Girls fans at events next weekend!
We're back in action and blogging our every move!

Maggie and Meghan

Penrod
On Saturday, we found ourselves at the Penrod Art Fair on the beautiful grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art. We checked out lots of great booths, both of art and local non-profit organizations. It was great to see our friends from Indy Hub and the Indianapolis Opera.
Lots of great art to look at and people watching at its finest. Chateau Thomas, Oliver, Bazbeaux, King David Dogs, and Brother Juniper's were present for food and drink as well as several large Budweiser trucks.
Yet another successful art fair put on by the great gentlemen in the Penrod Society. Great event, guys!

Friday... return to the Wellington!
After a minor setback, the Friday of Meghan's birthday, we returned to our old haunt the Wellington (aka the Cellar of the Corner Wine Bar). We were greeted with a special birthday version on "King of the Road" and "Happy Birthday" by our friends, Touch of Grass.
The guys play every Friday and Saturday and as the weather grows cooler, you'll find us there more often. They have a new beer on tap called Loose Cannon and it is a new favorite. Our German friend introduced us to a special beverage from his country: white wine and Coke. Yiiiip.
It was great to be out with our old friend Al Pom and Will and Ellie. We also enjoyed our glorious return to our own personal version of Cheers... everybody knows our names!

The Party that was SO Birthday!

Sorry... it's been a while. We have been beyond busy. Enough said. Moving on...
We had our joint birthday party on September 6. It was our Second Annual Sunday Funday Celebration.
While food was not the central focus, we think we made some great party snacks- with a little help from our friends. Everyone seemed to be okay with less food and more beer and wine.
Our pal Molly's mom, Susan, made a fantastic salad. Sounds like a weird combo of cheese tortellini, fruit, and poppy seed dressing, but the result is AMAZING.
We featured our famous pizza roll, Rice Krispie Treats, brownies by Koehler, and guacamole by Baker. Kelsie made buffalo chicken dip and cream cheese toffee dip for apples. Both were phenomenal. Thanks, KMo.
Terry Freeman, who you may know from her role as Meghan's mom, made a punch and pour/poke cake with raspberry Jell-O. Delicious and a birthday tradition!
We had one close call involving a hammock and red wine mistaken for blood, but other than that the party went off without a hitch. Special thanks to Maggie's new neighbors, Luke and Ashley for the flip cup table!
Thanks, friends for making our party SO birthday! We love you! The Party Girls are back!
